The Bible says of Cornelius saying “He was a devout, God- fearing man, as was everyone in his household. He gave generously to the poor and prayed regularly to God. Acts 10:2”.
When you are not humble, you will find it difficult touching others, because they won’t be able to come closer to you, share with you all they passing through and you won’t even be able to see what others are going through. Been proud makes you mock others instead of listening to them and helping. This Cornelius didn’t do, rather he helped the poor and his offerings well accepted by God. The Bible says “Cornelius stared at him in terror. “What is it sir?” He asked the angel.” And the angel replied, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have been received by God as an offering! Acts 10:4”
Thus beloved, to be able to touch the lives of others offering the acceptable sacrifice you must be humble to God and also in the sight of men. This is a sign of you being God fearing and been an humble child of God makes you help generously without mocking the poor, the needy and less privilege. The only difference between you and them is the ‘less’. They are less-privilege while you are privilege. Much was give you and little was given to them. God decides it all. The Bible says “…When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required. Luke 12:48”; “So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it. Romans 9:16”.

Be grateful, worship God. Repent from sinning, wickedness and evil against others and ACCEPT Jesus, He will surely give you a peaceful, changed heart and you shall life.
